Hi, welcome to the Home page of 7thA Rochdale Scout Group.
7thA Rochdale is a long established Scout Group near the centre of Rochdale, in Lancashire. Rochdale is the birthplace of celebrities such as Gracie Fields & Lisa Stansfield.
This is the page where we tell you a bit about the group, it's structure, the personalities and how to join us. Parents, do you know what the scouts can offer your child and what it is going to cost you? If not take a look at our Parents Page for the details. We are a mixed group based at Spotland Bridge, the grey block building with the double green gates. All three group based sections currently operating, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts, the Beavers meet on a Wednesday at 6:00 pm, followed by the Cub Scouts at 7-15 pm, and the Scouts meet on a Thursday at 7:15 pm. The leadership team is currently 4 warranted leaders Mike, Amanda, James & Damien. We have also three new Leaders, just joining the Group. Helped by various parents & Young Leaders from our local Explorer Scout Unit, the “Pioneers”. Between us we run a good active programme for the boys & girls of this part of Rochdale.
